What inspires you?
I am inspired daily by my students and the joy I find simply sharing what Yoga has taught me.
One of the highlights of my teaching career was having someone tell me that I inspired them to become a teacher.

Connect with Veronica
Veronica is a former ballet dancer and aerialist. She worked professionally with companies both nationally and internationally. She has performed on and off B'way as a singer, dancer, and aerialist as well. During her career as a performer she began to get deeply involved in yoga and it became the new love of her life. Over the years in a highly competitive field, the intrinsic philosophy of yoga has helped her maintain joy, compassion, and a lust for life. She holds 200 hr certifications in Kundalini yoga, Power Vinyasa, and AIReal Yoga. She has been practicing for over 20 yrs and teaching for 12yrs, inspired by teachers such as Brian Kest, Seane Corn, Ira Rosen(Govindas), Baron Baptiste, Yogi Bajan, BKS Iyengar, and Lea Kraemer, to name a few.
Veronica's passion for movement in all it's many forms has inspired her to share her knowledge, be creative with her style of teaching, and continue to follow her bliss and share it with her students.

Veronica DeSoyza regularly instructs the following classes:
Integrating movement and breath, this class is aimed at the seasoned beginners and regular practitioners.
- Introducing twists, some backbends, approachable inversions, be prepared to explore both beginning and intermediate poses. Modifications are given allowing the students to choose a more beginning or more advanced practice according to their needs.
Linking breath to movement, this class offers a faster pace practice, explores more complex movements and sequences including twists, backbends; options for inversions and arm balances layered over solid foundations. The teacher will encourage rest periods and offer modifications as needed.
